Denise Dvorquez, MD

Dr. Denise Dvorquez received her medical degree at the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil in Ecuador in 2007,she worked in the Galapagos Islands for one year as a primary care physician. After that, she received a Fulbright Scholarship and was admitted at Johns Hopkins University to pursue a master’s degree in public health. She returned to Ecuador and taught in her Alma Mater for two years. Later she was admitted doing her residency program in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami where she finished her degree. She is board certified in internal medicine by the ABIM physicians and for the American Board of Obesity (ABOM). She has worked for the past 5 years in primary care in the state of Washington and California. She loves the ocean, the outdoors, and camping and likes to play soccer with her son and her husband and spend quality time with her family. Languages: English and Spanish
